For over thirty-four years, TED L. COX, RYT 500, has cultivated his passion for teaching, music, and yoga – especially Yoga philosophy and the Bhagavad Gita. Ted is the author of two books, Warrior Self – Unlocking the Promise of the Bhagavad Gita, published in 2014, and Warrior Truth – Discovering the Power of the Bhagavad Gita, published in 2016. Since 2004, Ted and his wife, Martha McQuaid, have owned Spirit House Yoga, opening their newest studio, YogaLab, in 2015, where they both teach a full schedule of classes as well as Yoga Teacher Trainings at the 200 and 500 hour levels.
Warrior Self interprets the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita in an accessible and easy to understand way, showing the reader how to apply these timeless teachings to daily life, bringing clarity and perspective to this ancient text.
Warrior Self is quickly becoming a required text for teacher trainings across the country. Reviews of Warrior Self have hailed it as “brilliant, inspirational, powerful, compelling, life-changing, and a gift to the world.”
Warrior Truth is unlike any book ever written about the Bhagavad Gita – taking the reader step-by-step through this magnificent text explaining consciousness, Truth, who Krishna is, and exactly what He is telling us. The outstanding contribution Warrior Truth offers is the organization of the entire text into twelve themes as well as correlated teachings of the yamas and niyamas.
