This class focuses on basic postures with an emphasis on energizing and waking up the body. This class is appropriate for all students and moves at a slightly slower pace.
Provides a great place to start or to continue an existing practice.  Moderate pacing and basic poses come together to create a balance of strength and flexibility in the body as well as a calm and focused mind. 60 minutes.
Ayurveda as the “sister science to Yoga” focuses on natural self care specifically for your own unique body type. This class combines Ayurvedic health principles with yoga postures designed around achieving and maintaining your highest potential for whole being wellness.
The most popular class on our schedule. If you’re interested in beginning a yoga practice, this is a great class to start. We offer clear step-by-step instructions and two experienced teachers to guide you into your new practice.  A basic practice to keep your body safe and strong for a lifetime.
A gentle form of yoga in which poses are done while seated in a chair or standing and using the chair for support. This class is ideal for all levels of students, including those with mobility issues. A great starting place for newcomers.
For All Levels: Gentle poses that flow with the breath are designed with a therapeutic focus to align, open and tone the body. Relaxation and breathing exercises will help to reduce stress and increase lung capacity. This is an excellent class during pregnancy as well as for those with asthma, arthritis, sciatica, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, anxiety or chronic pain. Great for beginners, and everyone will benefit.
Level 2 Yoga: The level of the class is created by the students who are present, generating a dynamic energy between Ted and his students. If you are an experienced practitioner, come share your practice to help create a more empowered class for everyone.
This Level 1 class is designed to address areas of chronic pain & tension in the body all while cultivating strength, balance & calm. By blending the Osteopathic Techniques of Strain Counter-strain and Muscle Energy Technique with the Yogic Elements of Asana, breath & body awareness you will learn how to release areas of deep seated tension, correct muscle imbalances & improve postural distortion in the body. Expect to leave class feeling relaxed, open and strong!
The Yoga of 12-Step Recovery Y12SR is an innovative addiction relapse prevention program that integrates the wisdom of yoga and the practical tools of 12-Step recovery programs. Y12SR is a meeting and a yoga practice. The time is divided between a 12-Step-like sharing circle and a yoga asana (movement), pranayama (breathwork) and meditation session where we “take it to the mats.” The yoga asana practice offered is designed to be accessible to all bodies and levels of yoga experience.
Weekly 2 hour workshop/class is open to any student or teacher of yoga, and is an opportunity to go deeper with yogic studies related to Asana, sequencing, anatomy, bio-mechanics, therapeutic practices and hands-on adjustments. This class, which has been developed over several years by Martha McQuaid, offers students and teachers an opportunity to expand understanding of the art and practice of yoga. Bring your questions and an open mind!
